Hi, forgot to check and reply. I can tell the difference in tone, because the guitar sounds great, almost as good as my expensive guitars, at times better. Not to savvy about comparing tone on pups, but these are a nice combo of clean crunch and smooth distortion when cranked up. The tech who modded it for me said the new pups made a huge difference to his ears.

Hootie,
Thanks for your reply.

I'm glad you recall those things and I am happy to hear that John and Diana and Sue are well, as well as Jed. I have also visited Jed's website, although I have not communicated with him.

Most of all, I am truly very happy to know that your Mom is well and now married and living in the Hamptons. I have often thought of her and wondered if she was still teaching Ta''i Chi and how she was.
I wish her much happiness.

I have a couple of pics of your Mom from those days, including one of her and I in the backyard at a party.

If you would like to have copies, let me know the best place to send them (as email attachments) to you.

My very best wishes to you and your Mom.

PS: While indeed not the fastest guy in the nabe, I and a partner (don't recall who) did win the Ping-Pong Doubles Championship of the Village at the Grove Street Street Fair one summer. Your Mother made her tasty gazpacho for that fair and it sold out pretty fast!

Of course! Good to hear from you. I remember all of the above! Trying to remember who threw the football. Mom is okay, living in East Hampton, married to long-time partner, David. John and Diana also well. Sue Mingus still in touch with my family, Jed as well. All best!
